Meet Dr. Kaitlin McCann

Dr. Kaitlin McCann, a proud native of Burlington, Ontario, brings a unique blend of hometown roots and global education to the field of dentistry. Her journey into the dental profession is marked by a steadfast commitment to excellence, community, and patient-centered care.

After a solid academic foundation at the University of Guelph, where she earned her degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2010, Dr. McCann pursued her passion for dentistry at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2016, she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, demonstrating her dedication to acquiring advanced knowledge and skills in the dental sciences.

Dr. McCann's professional journey includes two years as an associate practitioner in Mentor, Ohio, where she honed her skills and gained valuable experience. However, her heart remained close to home, prompting her return to Burlington to be nearer to family and friends.

An active member of the dental community, Dr. McCann is affiliated with the Ontario Dental Association, the Burlington Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. These memberships underscore her commitment to staying abreast of industry standards and fostering professional connections both locally and internationally.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. McCann finds joy in a diverse range of activities. An avid enthusiast of culinary arts, she enjoys exploring the world of cooking. In her downtime, she can be found watching movies, hiking, and embracing the physical and mental rigors of CrossFit.
