Are lip fillers painful?

Fortunately, lip fillers aren’t or (at least shouldn’t) be painful so long as you choose an experienced injector such as our Dr. Nabeta in Burlington. To ensure a painless procedure, an anesthetic is applied prior to injection using a very fine needle. In addition to this, the product we use for lip enhancement contains lidocaine which will anesthetize as you are being treated. It is, however, good to be aware that a brief splinter-like sensation is common with injection but should not persist.
